Hear ye! Hear ye! Let it be known that I am a Jesus Culture super fan! It’s true, I am. I got into their music early this year (early February, I think), promptly bought all of their albums, and went to a Jesus Culture conference this past August (photos of the conference here). Their heart for worship is so amazing, that it’s life-changing. That’s the way our love for God is supposed to be though…not only changing our lives, but the lives of onlookers.  This is the album that was recorded live at said conference. I was up past 4am because my Spirit was so excited after listening to it! Everyone knows The Chronicles of Narnia series is like 3 steps from holy writ.  The latest (some say last, but I have my hands clasped in prayer against that) installment in the Narnia family finds Prince Caspian reuniting with Lucy and Edmund to save people from an unseen evil force.  I don’t want to ruin the plot, but I will say I yelled out “Amen!” more than a few times in the theater…and I cried…a few times. It’s great! Go to Redbox and watch the whole Narnia trilogy in one day!

This is an autobiographical novel, written by a runaway slave. It’s shocking, touching, and powerful. I think everyone should have to read this – especially given the recent rush to downplay (even erase in some places) the horrors of slavery. Read it!
