GOOD SCRIPTURE

Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever…

1 Peter 1:22-23

GOOD VIDEO

This just might be the cheesiest thing I’ve posted – and that’s saying a lot – but pay-it-forward chains never get old. Just remember this, being nice to someone won’t always make them be nicer to others. Some people love being mean. C’est la vie! We still have to love our neighbors; and, acting quickly when we see an opportunity is the perfect way to express God’s love.

GOOD PICTURE

One of the best feelings is telling a joke, and getting a good, hearty laugh. One of the coolest things in the world is a nonviolent-monkey-interaction. This boy has to be on top of the world right now.

GOOD SONG

Here’s a classic, classic, classic Winans’ song for you. When I was younger and listened to this, I didn’t fully understand it. Now, as an adult who wants to live right…this is that song – if you know what I mean. “It’s good to know He’ll be there if ever I fall. But, it’s better to know that I don’t have to fall at all; because, He’s able to keep me.” Praise God! Take a listen and encourage your soul.

GOOD BOOK

It’s testimony time! I bought this book while browsing Amazon late at night, trying to find books on prayer. Little did I know how awesome it would be! There are testimonies of healing, deliverance, salvation, words of knowledge, and more – all taking place from around the 1600s-1800s. It’s so interesting to see the faith of Saints from years ago, and see how they struggled with many of the same things we struggle with today. When I started reading, it was hard for me to stop – and I even cried tears of joy over some of the testimonies.

Once you read this book, you’ll be challenged to examine your faith in the Lord. Is it a complete trust? Do you trust Him with every detail of your life? The Wonders of Prayer will charge and encourage you, that’s for sure. AND, it’s FREE on Kindle (hooray)! So, click the picture and start reading it already!

GOOD QUOTE

Books are meat and medicine
and flame and flight and flower
steel, stitch, cloud and clout,
and drumbeats on the air.
